Dress Code

At Move Dance Academy, our dress code is an important part of our studio culture and training philosophy. It serves many important purposes that support both the individual dancer and the classroom environment:
-
Preserves the integrity of our artistic direction
-
Eliminates distractions and establishes uniformity
-
Promotes discipline, confidence, and poise
-
Enhances dancer safety
-
Fosters a sense of belonging and teamwork
-
Allows instructors to properly assess alignment and technique for corrections
Trial Lessons
Dancers are not required to wear dress code attire for trial lessons; however, we highly recommend it to help your dancer feel more confident and immersed in the full class experience.
