Move Dance Academy is dedicated to providing premier technical training and stand-out artistry within a nurturing environment. At Move, we aspire to inspire through our professionally designed programs which aim to teach each student to feel limitless in their potential. Classes are carefully planned and taught by experienced and loving professionals who ensure optimal, progressive, and elite training. Our wide variety of styles, levels, and opportunities are provided to ensure everyone has a place and room for growth at Move.

 

At Move Dance Academy, we are passionate about our role in your dancer's overall growth and wellbeing inside and outside of the classroom. We are dedicated to promoting athleticism, artistry, confidence, discipline, friendship, and fun.

What Sets Us Apart

  • Professional, passionate, and experienced team of instructors. Each instructor has a minimum of 10 years of dance experience, has completed LiveScan background checks, and has 10+ years of studio training, college training and/or professional performance experience. 

  • A communicative, welcoming, and warm atmosphere! Our space is entirely centered around ensuring the well-being and benefit of our dancers. 

  • Beginning and recreational program carefully crafted to provide exceptional technical training within a commitment-free and fun environment for all students. At Move Dance Academy, we do not believe recreational means unprofessional. 

  • Advanced, competitive, and pre-professional program carefully crafted to provide exceptional technical training for collegiate and industry opportunities within a nurturing, family-like, and rewarding environment for students who exhibit passion and commitment. 

  • Syllabus guided curriculums. 

  • Traditional studio etiquette taught and enforced. 

  • Annual recitals! A chance for all dancers to perform in a professional theatre with costuming, sound, and lighting for their invited friends and family. This annual event becomes a lifelong cherished memory. 

  • "Mini Movers" program for ages 2-5, carefully crafted to introduce dance in a developmentally appropriate, stimulating, and fun format. 

  • Injury preventative, top-of-the-line sprung Marley floors.
